Memory 3 (Game 149)
Positive-Trivial: A nice, relaxing game of cards. Robin is a sore loser.
What It Was: 2x09, Winner Take All
Pretty much what it says on the tin! Everyone is playing some made-up card game (it's like Speed, but with more people and also using meteorological phenomena instead of a regular deck.). Raven, Beast Boy, and Starfire all fold, leaving Robin and Cyborg. Robin thinks he's won, but Cyborg pushes him into a final round and trounces him. Robin steams about it ("Winning isn't everything." "Yeah. It's just the only thing that matters.") and then demands a rematch, trying to get cards from everyone else. AND THEN!
There is a flash of light and Robin, Beast Boy, and Cyborg all vanish in a flash of light, leaving a very puzzled Starfire and Raven behind. They exchange some quizzical looks and start looking for the boys, only for them to return safe and sound as suddenly and flashily as they left. Greetings are exchange, pizza is ordered so Robin, Cyborg, and Beast Boy can tell Starfire and Raven what happened.
What She Learned:
- Card game! It's made up but she might try to make/quest for a deck so she can teach everyone else how to play. It's something to do, at least.
- What the Titans Tower looked like from the inside.
- Starfire is unfamiliar with some Earth things. Robin is super competitive and a sore loser.
- :9 Pizza.
